I have been living to The Netherlands for over 25 years and still often see the Dutch from the perspective of a foreigner. Some clichés are inevitable. A random selection of images illustrate my view of the pride, tradition, efficiency, crowd, tolerance(?), "gezelligheid", stubbornness and the open character of this country, much of which is below sea level.
